During the 1990s I was lucky enough to make many visits to South African game reserves staying in lodges and tented camps. I experienced safaris in four-wheel drives and on foot. These photos are some of my favourites chosen from many hundreds that I took during that period.
They were taken with a Canon SLR on Kodak and Fuji 35mm print film and have since been scanned and digitised.
Most of the shots were taken in Kruger National Park and the smaller reserves that surround it.
