Uncle Ian’s incredibly useful documents for Westbury based Guards. I’ve designed these documents as memory aids and references purely for my personal use. However, I’m happy for any other railway personnel to make use of them, which is why I’ve made them available here. Remember that they are unofficial and not sanctioned by FGW and I’m not responsible for any action you take based on the contents. You are responsible for your own railway knowledge. But please let me know if you find any of the deliberate mistakes as you may be entitled to a reward. Ha!

All of the publications are in PDF format so that they can be read online, saved to your PC and/or printed out.

There’s an information sheet that gives instructions for how to print the documents in double-sided booklet form.

Smartphones and Tablets

This site is written for PC browsers so may not display properly in a portable device. However, smartphones and tablets are a great way to carry and view PDF files like these. It saves having to print them out and keep them tidy. The two A5 booklets are now offered in A4 format for this reason.
